Readings of unpublished works by their authors
From 15th May 2008, every Thursday at 6pm at the Fondazione Claud
io Buziol in Venice, a series of meetings in which six contemporary Italian authors are invited to "bare their souls" for the public, with readings of unpublished works and works in progress. This new formula will open the doors directly onto the "writer's workshop", capturing him or her in the middle of creation and revealing tricks and idiosyncrasies useful for understanding the mechanism of writing and narrative technique.
Niccolo' Ammaniti will inaugurate the series of events, followed by Elena Stancanelli, Antonio Moresco, Mauro Covacich, Romolo Bugaro and Carola Susani.
These appointments with six authors, some of the most interesting on the contemporary Italian scene, have been organised with the collaboration of Roberto Ferrucci, Marco Franzoso and Tiziano Scarpa, who will comment on the unpublished works together with the authors and the public.
